To solidly advance the implementation and yield tangible results in alumni and fundraising efforts at the Tea College of Anhui Agricultural University, and to fully meet the preparatory requirements for the university's centennial celebration, on March 12th, Han Jun, Vice President of the University Alumni Association, visited the college to conduct research on alumni affairs. Relevant college leaders and members of the research team attended the meeting.
Jiang Jiasheng, the Party Secretary of the college, delivered a comprehensive report on the progress of alumni and fundraising activities at the Tea College. He provided an in-depth analysis of the challenges and obstacles currently faced, and proposed subsequent work plans and specific measures, taking into account the distinctive features of the college's tea science disciplines and its operational realities.
During the research, the research team concentrated on deliberating alumni affairs within the framework of the centennial celebration, considering the academic distinctiveness and operational realities of the college. The meeting underscored the necessity for the college to further refine its alumni liaison mechanisms, promptly enhance and update the alumni information database, facilitate the establishment of alumni branches, precisely align with alumni donation intentions, clarify the directions for nurturing donation projects, and lay a solid foundation for securing greater resource support and fostering collaborative bridges between the college and enterprises as well as local communities. This investigation has further elucidated the focal points of the college's alumni and education fund endeavors. The college will seize this meeting as a pivotal opportunity to refine strategies, solidify responsibilities, and effectively convert alumni resources into developmental impetus, thereby contributing to the high-caliber advancement of the college and the centennial celebration of the university.
